He started his racing career in karting before moving to Formula Renault, where he finished as the runner-up in the 2008 season. He later competed in various categories such as TC2000, Top Race V6, and Turismo Carretera, achieving multiple victories and podiums.

Urcera is also known for participating in the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2019, where he finished fifth in the LMP2 class. He has also represented the Argentine national team in various international motorsport events.
